PT Total Oil Indonesia has officially entered the petrol
retail market with the official opening of two service stations in
Jakarta.
The two service stations in Jakarata are at Jalan Daan Mogot and
Jalan MT Haryono. The oil company from France plans to build a
network of 500 service stations in the Asia-Pacific region.
Senior Vice President of Total Refining and Marketing for Asia-Pacific,
Thierry Pfimlin, said that Total has now entered the retail market
following its success with the company’s lubricant oil in Indonesia.
“It is a strategic and significant market consideration to enter the
fuel retail market.” he said on Monday.
Also this week, Total Oil made significant announcements about its
joint venture activities with PetroVietnam, another important market in
the region for the company. Total Oil has made its office in Singapore
an important administration base and HQ for the region.
