India: MRPL To Purchase 600,000 Barrels In October

After the settlement of the due payment issue with Iran regarding the oil supplies for August, Mangalore Refinery & Petrochemicals Ltd. (MRPL) is now heading towards buying 600,000 barrels of low-sulphur crude oil in October.
However, the buying of the low-sulphur crude oil would
be accompanied by selling of gasoil and jet fuel.The company is likely
to sell 50,000 metric tonnes of gasoil, while would sell 36,000 tonnes
of jet fuel for September loading.
MRPL is
the unit of India’s largest oil explorer company, Oil and Natural Gas
Corp. (ONGC). ONGC holds 72% stakes of Mangalore Refinery.
