India: CII Delegation Particpate in Copenhagen Summit

In order to contribute to the sustainable growth of the Indian Industry
and help it build a low-carbon economy, the Confederation of Indian
Industry (CII) has organised a delegation of CEOs to participate in the
COP 15 round of UNFCCC negotiations on Climate Change at Copenhagen.
The delegation will attend the Copenhagen summit from December 11-15
and will be led by Jamshyd N Godrej, chairman, CII Climate Change
Council and chairman & MD, Godrej & Boyce MfgCompany.
The delegation will seek to assist the Centre in its negotiations will
also actively participate and present it's perspective on the role of
the country's industry in building a low-carbon economy. It will also
attend various private events organised by it's international MoU
partners, including Action for Global Climate Community, Business
Europe, Carbon Disclosure Project, Confederation of Danish Industry.
The delegation will comprise various stakeholders and members,
including Suresh Prabhu, chairman, Council for Energy, Environment and
Water and former minister of environment, Pramod Chaudhari, chairman,
CII National Committee on Biofuels and chairman, Praj Industries, Roop
Salotra, president & CEO, SRF Ltd.
