Hexagon & Luminanz Enter into Long Term License Agreement

Hexagon has announced that its subsidiary Polymer Composite Asia Sdn
Bhd has entered into a 15-year License Agreement with Luminanz
Limited, a producer of energy efficient lighting based in Bolton,
England.
 Hexagon made the annoucement earlier this week (Monday 10th August)
in Kuala Lumpur in which Luminanz has granted Polymer Composite Asia (PCA) a
non-exclusive royalty-bearing license under Luminanz’s licensed patents
and technology know-how for PCA to manufacture and sell certain
determined products of Luminanz’s worldwide.
Luminanz is the originator of a highly innovative low carbon, energy
efficient lighting technology that is based on the use of high
brightness white LEDs. The Luminanz technology is used as a
source of effective light for all lighting applications, including
street lighting, signage, display, street furniture, highways and
traffic use, architectural highlighting, safety lighting and ambient
room lighting.
