China: Sinopec to Expand Network in Nanning

Sinopec is to construct and develop an 100 additional service stations in the Province of Nanning
Sinopec (China Petroleum and Chemical Corp.) had signed a framework
agreement on strategic cooperation with Nanning Government in investing
a total of US$ 293 mil(Yg2bn) in Nanning, capital of Guangxi Zhuang
Autonomous Region, southwest of China. According to the
agreement, Sinopec will invest to develop additional 100 service
stations in Nanning and construct the Nanning-Baised oil pipeline.
Sinopec will also expand the Tunli oil depot, a supportive project to
CNPC Qinzhou oil refinery in the next three years. The
constructions will help further optimize the city´s oil product sales
network, upgrade oil infrastructure, and promote the development of the
city´s economy.
