PetroChina who bought Singapore Petroleum Company and China Huaneng who
bought Tuas Power of Singapore will include Singapore in their
collaboration.
It is understood by PetrolWorld that Huaneng has asked Tuas Power to
start discussions with PetroChina Singapore on possible areas of
collaboration. This initiative follows the signing of a
strategic cooperation framework agreement by PetroChina and
Huaneng last week. The deal includes joint development
project with natural gas-based power generation. The two 'will
join hands in gas generation projects, long-term client development,
natural gas peak shaving and growth of clean energy generating
capacity', PetroChina's parent, China National Petroleum Corp (CNPC)
reported on its website.
