Azerbaijan: SOCAR Pledges to Introduce New Cash Registers

The State Oil Company of Azerbaijan (SOCAR) has said it will introduce new cash registers at its retail network across the country, in partnership with the Ministry of Taxes, during the spring. The company expects commitment from the Government department within two months, according to news agency Trend.
Trend cited a company source who offered specific details on the rollout. "The main task now is to adjust the computer system in accordance with a system of cash registers offered by the Ministry of Taxes. A period of two months has been defined to implement this process," he said. "Every effort will be made to bring the system of provision in compliance to the end of this month."
