Azerbaijan: SOCAR Increases Refining Output by 4.1% in October

The State Oil Company of Azerbaijan (SOCAR) has announced that it increased its output of refined petroleum products by 4.1% in October. The company manufactured 537,010 tons, an increase on September’s figure of 515,790 tons, but well below August’s peak of 621,910 tons.
“In 2011 refining has reached 5.230 million tons,” said SOCAR. In the month, SOCAR produced 123,810 tons of motor petrol, 12,010 tons of straight–run gasoline (naphta), 192,510 tons of diesel fuel, 18,930 tons of furnace black oil, and 26,810 tons of oil bitumen.
