Australia: Coles Express To Offer Shell V Power

 Shell's premium 98RON fuel will soon be available to Western Australian drivers. Come July 11th, 40 Coles Express fuel service stations across the Perth metro area will begin serving the fuel. According to Shell, the price difference between regular 91RON unleaded and 98RON V-Power will be the same as on the east coast.
The company also stated that the reason for the
decade-plus wait for the premium fuel to arrive in the west boiled down
to the cost of upgrading infrastructure and market size.
To promote the launch of V-Power in WA, the company has rolled out a
V-Zone on the Esplanade with a Ferrari California and a recent Ferrari
F1 car on display. You can also score some neat prizes should you win a
race or set the fastest time on either the RC track, slot car circuit or
Gran Turismo 5 race simulators.
The V-Zone is free and open from 4pm to 10pm Friday, 8 July, but only
for registered guests.
