Emirates National Oil Company (ENOC) is spending AED50m to modernise its ENOC/EPPCO service station network.
Under the plans customers will be able to fill up their cars and
have the amount automatically deducted from a personalised account. The
Fill and Go scheme will recognise vehicle number plates that are
registered under the plan, ENOC said in a statement.
It will be available in service stations from early 2010, the firm
said.“Our automation drive will streamline the fundamental aspects of
fuel retail, making for a cleaner, safer and more convenient experience
for customers. It will also allow us to redeploy our teams to higher
skilled duties at our service stations, which will lead to additional
service benefits for customers,” Saeed Abdullah Khoory, ENOC Group
chief executive, said. He said the modernisation scheme will also
make it easier for the firm to convert from gallons to litres as of
January 1, 2010, when it comes into effect.
