UAE: Emarat Sponsors and Competes in Barista Championship

Emarat’s trademark ‘Café Arabicca’ brand has sponsored and participated in the UAE’s Barista Championship at Dubai’s Meydan Hotel. Retail Sales Manager Rahma Bin Mohammad told reporters that the company had organised competitions between staff in all fuel service stations providing Café Arabicca, with the best four employees representing the brand at the championships.
The event, watched by 7,100 people over three days, saw Matthew Toogood named as national champion. He will proceed to compete at the World Barista Championship in Vienna next year.
In addition to enhancing the visibility of the Café Arabicca brand, Dr. Al Shamsi explained that the competition helped improve employee’s skill and reward them for their development and creativity.
