Saudi Arabia: UETL Appointed Licensee of Tanknology

Tanknology in the USA has announced that UETL, of Jeddah, Saudi Arabia,
has been appointed as a licensee in the Middle East.
UETL is a subsidiary of Saudi Company for Environmental Works Ltd
(SEW), the largest environmental services company in Saudi Arabia.
According to Ignacio Allende, Tanknology’s Director of International
Operations, UETL is offering the company’s proprietary underground
storage tank testing technology, its VacuTect™ system, as well as its
TLD1 line testing technology.
UETL is led by Abdul Hakim Sahab, the Managing Director. Its team is
currently completing training and certification on Tanknology’s testing
systems, and will be fully operational later this month.
“The UST environmental testing market is in its infancy in Saudi
Arabia, where there are approximately 7,000 sites,” Allende said.
“UETL, as part the largest environmental services and waste management
company in the country, is perfectly positioned for success as a
licensee of Tanknology’s industry-leading compliance testing services.
