Qatar: Woqod Opens Largest Fuel Service Station in Doha

Woqod has opened its largest-ever fuel service station in Doha, based on the Salwa Road near Mekaines. Vice- Chairman and Managing Director Mohammed Turki al Sobai, along with other senior company officials, officially opened the station.
“This is Woqod’s largest service station till date. There are many innovations to cater to the needs of our customers,” said al Sobai. The station features a special route to move heavy trucks from the main refuelling area to dedicated high-speed fuel dispensers a.d a dedicated shop under a new concept, Sidra Express. “For private customers, the service station is designed to Woqod’s normal high standards and layouts,” he added. The facility will soon feature a new food court style restaurant, Sidra Garden, with several top fast food brands and a large play area for children. It will also allow wireless internet access and features a dedicated mosque, automatic and manual car wash services, and tyre shops.
The company has 10 fuel service stations under construction, with more set to open by the end of the year.
