Nigeria: Chevron Completes Downstream Sale to Corlay (Update)

Chevron Corp. announced that its subsidiary, Chevron Africa Holdings
Ltd., has completed the sale of Chevron Nigeria Holdings Ltd to Corlay
Global S.A,
Corlay Global S.A, is a Panamanian company owned by an Africa-based
consortium, MRS Holdings Ltd and Petroci Holding. The financial details
related to the transaction were not disclosed.
Chevron Nigeria Holdings Ltd. is a Bermudan company that held 60% of
the shares of Chevron Oil Nigeria PLC, a publicly listed operator and
owner of marketing assets in Nigeria. The sales agreement was
originally announced in September 2008 and closed last week.
