Kliot Energy has put its servcie station neotworl up for sale by tender.
It has been reported locally that Alon Oil subsidiary Dor Alon Energy has beaten it rival Azrieli Group unit of Sonol to purchase stations the network of Kliot Energy Ltd. Kliot put 16 of its 19 service stations up for sale by tender. Some of the service stations were franchises of Dor Alon or Sonol, and others were independent. Sources inform ''Globes'' that Dor Alon acquired nine of the gas stations, including four Sonol service stations in the Sharon area. Dor Alon will now operate these service stations.
Kliot Energy also operates in the commercial fuels market and supplies diesel and oils to industry, businesses, and private customers. Kliot Energy's tender was an opportunity for Israel's large fuel companies to increase their presence in the Sharon. In recent years, most of the large agencies have sold their gas stations operations as part of the fuel companies' strategies to acquire full ownership of them.
