Iran Opens Petrol Stations in Border Areas

In a move to fight fuel smuggling, the Iranian ministry of oil is
to develop and establish border petrol station outlets.
The National Iranian Oil Products
Distribution Company's director for supplies and distribution announced
that that border outlets would be setup in West-Azarbayjan,
East-Azarbayjan, Sistan-Baluchestan, North-Khorasan, South-Khorasan,
Razavi-Khorasan Provinces with an aim to reduce fuel smuggling.

Ameri said that the prices at border petrol stations would be set
inline with petrol prices on the other side of the borders.
