Algeria: Sonatrach Awards Saipem €1.3B LPG Contract

Sonatrach has awarded Saipem a new onshore contract worth approximately
€1.3 billion. The Italian firm won a lump sum turn-key contract for the
LPG processing facility project at the Hassi Messaoud oil and gas
complex.
The contract covers engineering, procurement and construction of
three LPG production trains with a total capacity of 8.0 Mmcm per day.
The work is expected to be completed in H1 2012.
